Write and execute test scripts for commercial and proprietary software products in an NT 4.0 / Win 95 client/server environment. Primary methodologies were GUI and black box testing techniques. Research vendor and product information via the Internet. Write and proofread technical documentation, test scripts and scenarios according to company standards for compliance. Utilizing MS Word and Excel, compiled product and testing information into form suitable for audit. Also worked closely with Change Control to design a database in MS Access to log production changes to the servers. During this process I became familiar with form creation and Visual Basic syntax. Helped design an intranet site by coding HTML in Notepad and HomeSite while manipulating graphics in Photoshop, to share our reports and spreadsheets with other areas of the bank.
